The Lost Lands

Lands that once were apart of different worlds and only a small fragment of them ended up in the collision. They are not from the same world of the four regions, but they still fall within the eras, all with their own lore.

⚰︎ RP Hooks

  • The fabric of reality is weakened, allowing for rifts to open and close at random. This causes random lands from any universe to make appearances, lose items, and lose people as well.

  • With the nature of these lands, they do not have strong walls of realities, which allows for easier summons for those outside of this world, including those trapped outside of reality.

  • Due to endless and random reality rifts, treasures, fortunes, monsters, and the undiscovered are found on the daily. This allows for constant adventures and conquests by those traveling these lands.

  • Unable to follow any calendar due to the scattered lands being in various locations.

  • Due to all the locations being at random, there will be an overlap of Suns and Moons in those regions.

    • Example: You may see the Sun that belongs in Aelthaz and in Abeir at the same time.

Prologue

The ocean took up almost 90% of the world within [REDACTED], however almost every inch of those waters

were a deadly free-for-all because there were no tritons to help any of those within the sea.

Because the food chain was mainly of predators, everyone fought for top, and caused an unbalance.

Lower species of aquatics would go extinct within months while the predators remained fighting one another.

The depth of the sea depended on which predator remained at the top. Though across all those depths, the common umbrella species, merfolk, were amongst almost every area and worked in packs that were of their own kinds.

Typically the green merfolk stayed with green and blue with blue, but if they were to run across one another they would fight without a second thought. Also within all of the seas, sea-elves fight for territory, working only with their blood kind, to claim the most land to prevent other predators from having access to their food that live within those areas.

Deeper into the depths, sirens were the witches of the sea and their covens were the most feared, along the lower species. Their magic was easily carried throughout the waters, and can even influence their own kind with their voice.

Cecaelia are found mainly in the depths, but resurface higher towards the land, typically on their own. They work as lone wolves, but have proven to become the strongest; the current top of the food chain, surpassing the tritons.

On the land, scions took over the borders of the seas and would hunt landwalkers in packs, while in the sea would attempt to lure predators into their land and ambush them, slowly taking away predators one at a time.

This world was mainly covered in water, and those areas without it, still like swamp mush that offered new predators that acted all the same, influenced by the waters. If landwalkers were not hunted by predators within the waters, lizardfolk take up camps and lay traps for those from land and sea to fall within. They do all they can to prepare massive fests, in hopes of luring more predators, so that they can have their own mini-wars to drink upon after the battle has ended.

No remorse, no second thoughts,

only consumption and wars.

The further the land was away from

the ocean, the safer you were,

but never completely.

Prologue

Within [REDACTED], there were islands infested with dragons. These dragons were seen as god-like to the humans and elves down below on the ground level of the plane. These people, scattered across the lands, dedicated most of their lives to offering any gifts to the seen as gods, in hopes they would be blessed by their elements and protected by outsiders.

The dragons saw the people and their offers as a joke amongst all dragons in the sky. However, after years upon years of life expectancies and dedication, the dragons decided to humor them and offer gifts in return. These gifts were not of riches, but would be as small as bringing heat in winter with their flames, or misleading devastating storms off course to protect their homes.

Even with the exchange of gifts, chromatic dragons began to find it unfair and that the people's gifts were no longer enough. They started to steal those they saw most dedicated to their worships and bringing them to the islands.

The people who were stolen, now living on the islands, slowly built up their society focused around the scales they lived with. With the dragon's hoards, they were able to access knowledge, weapons, spells, and much more that they would've never gathered back at home. This allowed them to become powerful, mentally and physically, and brought attention to the dragons.

The dragons grew to like those they've stolen, treating them as a human would a pet, and spoiling them with their own hoards and gifts from the people below. Words travel across the lands, new families join in worshipping the dragonics, and the cycle has continued for generations.

Snapshot_521.png

Once the people realized

their own families were being stolen,

the chromatic dragons

expected a response of grief,

and only saw the people were instead making this their lives goal;

to be stolen.

Snapshot_523.png

The dragons only saw them as pets,

but now seeing their worth,

they would send their pets back to

the main lands and would spread word

of their claimed gods,

or to help within wars on

behalf of the dragons as gifts,

but always returning to the

islands if they survived their missions.
