Col'escent Pier
With the constant reconstruction and people moving in and out of the dock town, crimes both proven and not are impossible to fully keep up with.
While some pirates simply enjoy the endless treasures and adventures of the sea, others focus on pilfering the hold's coffers. Be the one who tries to curb the violence, a new wanderer, or live the lawless free life, there is always something to do or find here in these shaded shores
⚰︎ Quick Lore Notes
-
Waves may appear normal for the most part, but randomly large waves will crash into the docks and rock the homes.
-
Monsters from the sea are known to surface and attack, but not all the creatures that visit are hostile. There have been sightings of creatures who lurk, observing, before hiding back at sea.
-
Crime is at large and with no one to assist, usually people can get away with it a lot easier. This doesn't mean that people will not fight back though, so watch your own back.
⚰︎ RP Hooks

With the new world collision, the seas started to change. The blend of new sea, storms, monsters, caused a threat to Elys Mortrum. Forcing hand, the residents started to build a sea wall over the years, and with the completion of dividing land and sea, a new town started to be built outside of the law.
Col'escent Pier started to be formed along the sea wall, and barely connecting itself to the Elys Market. Though, it was not easy, as monsters brought from the sea would attack and ruin their progress, or the tidal waves pushing the homes against the sea wall, amongst all other things. This made life hard, and forcing people into a corner of greed and resource poaching.
Tunnels started to be made, allowing them to slip into Elys Mortrum. Cracks in the sea wall becoming issues that the people of Elys have to keep repairing, however by the time they do, the damage is usually already done.
Patrols started to become more hostile towards the people of the Pier, forcing the tension between the two.
Elys Mortrum is attempting to protect the sproutling tree and everything it has to offer, while the greed is consumed of the people of the Pier and they're attempting to harvest the tree's offerings for themselves, for a chance of survival.
