Abeir

The dragons of Abeir, above the stronghold, nest in the mana rich remains of the most sought after ores of the old Great Tree's bed. Foreseeing the destruction to come, they suspended the now islands safely away from the destruction of the old world.

⚰︎ Quick Lore Notes

  • The islands are mostly home to gem and metallic dragons, but not limited too. 

  • The use of both sun and moon light, passing through the crystals, assists with delivering spells and mana across large sections of the islands and land below.

  • Dragons hide the remains of any dangerous deceased monsters within their hoard.

⚰︎ RP Hooks

  • Pushing against wind and storm, the dragons are used to swooping down and assisting those who may have harder times fighting against the sky's storms. Allowing for travel across the islands, at the price of some treasures given in return.

  • Plane traveling dragons seeking to find a new nesting having heard of a plane where mortals and dragons have found a way to live as one.

  • Fights to prove worth are often held, giving champions a chance to fight who the dragon's should grant a boon, scale, claw, or tooth too.

Seeking to assist and helping rebuild the metallic and gem dragon tribes, Abeir has slowly return the mortals elves and dragon born to the earth. After keeping them and teaching them the ways of planes travel, migration, using these skills to watch the worlds and help rebuild from ground level, while the dragons protect and watch over in the sky.

 

The dragons now mingle together with Io Dagda's original homed dragons, learning the way of the Great Tree and the destruction, to better assist the human and elves they let go. The dragons of Abeir still have the mindset of viewing them as pets, but with greater respect and more freedom, as the Io Dagda dragonkin are assisting and teaching them to protect any and all, not just the adored.
