Ashes in the Shadows

Life starts to grow from under the shadows. Good, evil, undead, and living. Ships are sailing out to reclaim dead, restore the world, all in preparation of the otherworldly beings that are spilling in. The stronghold is just starting to show it's worth, but with the world ever changing, there is no saying how their stories will unfold.

Four regions across the multi-verse, previously having issues finding balance and remaining steady, finally found peace and are standing still along side one another.

 

The wasteland side of things, within DyMnNo-γ, finally calmed with the cultists attempting to attack anyone on sight. The cultists have fled underground, to their necrotic churches, and have remained out of sight for weeks, some unsure if they are ever going to surface again.

 

On the modern horizon within Aelthaz, the college has gained both human and supernatural students alike. Growing classes, new classes, new worries with humanoids intermingling with the supernatural. Though, their worries don't kill the vibe of any of the college students, living their downtown life.

 

Up in the clouds, Zan'notic has their growing corporations, police force, and has not changed their minds on values from before the collision to now. They shove the poor into the slums, bathe in the riches of the high-life, and turn chin away from those who need it. They are considered stable, for their own twisted ways.

 

And now with Io Dagda, their lands have grown and expanded, life from the Great Tree has reached out and new homes have been made. The world is blossoming with life and allowing those who balance the cycle of death, allowing them a place in the Great Tree's cycle as the focus on those who have died become the focus of Elys Mortrum.

 

Even though the multi-verse is still outside of their walls, the bleed through of everything, and anything, the people of Elys Mortrum still continue their values of both life and death and attempt to make it home for all that may visit.

On the life-giving side of Mt. Ayre, there was a Mystrock Keep where the Duke was missing, but his troops kept order and the sapling tree safe. As the tree grew and it's roots spread, it spreads through the mountain and out the other side towards Elys Mortrum.

 

With more dead walking the world than ever before, the living have to work to keep their home and all the resting places safe. New threats from the sea are met with regular patrols of sailors, who have built a sea wall to stop the clashing, disastrous weather and forces from wrecking the homes of those they have left.

 

As the crime rates increases outside the wall, those who are still looking to live a better life team up with fae and patrols from inside the wall, working together to attempt a decent life that they have. They fight against poachers who aim to go after what life is left of the Great Tree, in attempts to make their own lives better, rather than sharing.

 

While poachers are the main threat on land, the sea and skies have their own.

 

With the multi-verse oceans clashing together, now named Serocea, it's bringing weather that the world is not used too, monsters who see the people as new food, and all sorts of different types of merfolk with different views.

 

The sky of islands, named Abeir, is home of most of the dragons from the previous world with the Great Tree and those passing along. Plane traveling dragons are clashing into one another in the sky, bringing some battles, a rise of new champions, games, and more. Though they tend to look over those down below, on ground, not all look over them with good intentions.

In this period of traversal, many new people and creatures walk the trees and buildings, scouting the new possibilities of their surroundings. Shops are opening, people are settling in, and plots have started as new groups start to grow.

 

The people of the Stronghold and Necrolithic are keeping order where they can, as they mingle with the new people from this and other worlds; both with optimism and suspicion.

 

The Wyld ones and Fae explore their new bed of life, finding new, amazing things in their fresh gown evergreen home. Will they be able to tame the new wyld? Or, become one with it and become wonderfully lost?

 

The Whisperer and Listeners guide the Viveren on how to find, and best improve, the state of the welcomed dead, as they ready them to walk again and join the efforts for the world.

 

The world waits, in suspense, excitement, and omens; both good and bad. Waiting for the untold, next turn of the page in their stories.
