⚰︎ What is "RiPMtG"?
RiPMtG is a fan-made, spin-off, of Magic: The Gathering.
Taking real MtG terms, with the abbreviation of RiP, which is also the abbreviation of the sim name, Raptured Intrepid Planes.
Recursion.
-
A combo or strategy in which the goal is to reuse the same card or cards repeatedly to gain an advantage.
Inevitability.
-
In a given matchup, the deck with inevitability is the one that becomes more and more likely to win as the game continues.
Proxies.
-
Proxy cards are unofficial stand-ins used in place of actual cards.
It is a fun spin-off to add more fun, nothing more!
⚰︎ What are "Role-Play Counters"?
Role-Play Counters (RPC) are the 'currency' players can receive to purchase their cards.
Since the sim does not use currency, you get cards by offering Role-Play (RP) on sim.
The RP that is offered does have to be focused around one out of the five aspects of Magic: The Gathering.
-
White: Peace, Law, Structure, Selflessness, Equality.
-
Blue: Knowledge, Deceit, Caution, Deliberation, Perfection.
-
Black: Power, Self-Interest, Death, Sacrifice, Uninhibitedness.
-
Red: Freedom, Emotion, Action, Impulse, Destruction.
-
Green: Nature, Wildlife, Connection, Spirituality, Tradition.
When a player is active in a scene, they will share their posts and tag @RiPMtGJudge in the #rp-share-nsfw, with it listing which out of the five options you have chosen for your current scene. An example will be listed below, as a screenshot:
You receive a RPC from your scenes, once per day, unless otherwise stated.
This doesn't mean you can only RP RiPMtG once a day, just means you will only receive one RPC.
However, that being said, those who shine through and go out of this world, possibly can receive RPC if the Judge feels it is warranted. So keep up the good work, and you can possibly receive more RPC just by being you!
RPC cannot be transferred across players.

⚰︎ How do I buy cards?
Using your RPCs, you can find a Judge in-world and approach for a scene.
You can also ask in #ripmtg-general, by tagging @RiPMtGJudge asking for a scene.
The Judge actively updates the bank, which is public for everyone to view and ensure that no shady deals are happening.
You can view the bank [here].
